This is the second one of these I have bought and both work great. Wish they would change the color of the rings so I could tell my Zens apart but just change the cords I hook them to instead.

The hard plastic case does protect the Zen player, but it looks like it's made out of the hard, brittle plastic that breaks easily. I haven't tested this, but if it should shatter upon impact, then I lose the use of the case for which it was intended, to hold the player while teathered to a lanyard.

Okay this case fits perfectly and I have owned it for a little over 2 years. It has protected my 4gb zen and has absolutely no scratches on the screen as of yet.
I will note a few things that I have had so you can be informed
-The case can get dirt in between the case and player, I recommend if keeping in pocket you take it out of case and whipe off with cloth every couple weeks.
-The case does get scratches on it but thats the point so your player stays nice.
-The lanyard circle I have hasnt broken yet and has never fallen off my pants
-The little cloth that connects your lanyard to my case broke after about a year and a half. I saw it ripping so I replaced it. I bought some comparable material at walmart and my wife stiched a piece together and it works perfect again.
-The little stand for propping it up for watching a movie surprisingly works well and doesnt fall, it stays clipped into the back and works out nice.
The case doesnt have access for being able to reset the player just a note.
Worth the money. I bought it the day I got my player was worth the money.
****Warning**** There are small extensions coming from the inside of the case that will scratch the other area of your player from prolonged use. It isnt on the screen but the outer area, for me its not a huge deal but if it is for you you can see the ribbed pieces and you may want to sand them but more then likely it creates the tight fit.

this is a wonderful case, i read some reviews that people were not happy with the clip, too difficult to use but they must have changed the design because i find it very easy, it's just a caribeaner (sp) but in a round shape. it protects the unit great, i like to clip it to my belt loop and it is easy to view and adjust there.

The color looks even cooler in person. This is a user friendly case, as you can access all of the plugs to the I-Pod and the handles on the sides are good for gripping. I highly recommend this product.

The packaging:
The front is thick, as though this product actually protects the front too (like Belkin cases for the other iPods that have a thin piece of plastic protecting the scroll wheel), but it doesn't. It doesn't come with a screen protector and it certainly does not have a belt clip. (As advertised.)
The case itself: (Buyers beware!)
Once you slip the case onto your iPod touch, it'll leave minor scratches in the back. As soon as you snap it on, it's ALMOST impossible to get it off. Even with a hands-free option, it's not worth the amount of effort you're putting into by trying to separate the two pieces of the case just so one of the pieces acts as a stand. It took forever for me to slide the case off uncovering several scratches on my newly bought iPod Touch. I had to use tools to actually get it off too, damaging the case in the process. UGH.
Stay away, I wasted $20 on this piece of plastic. I'm pretty sure there are better cases out there.

I wanted a transparent case that wouldn't add a lot of bulk, but still protect the back of my iPod from scratches. The case fits well, but is initially difficult to remove. After some use, it loosens a little and can be removed easily. However, the rubber accents are attached with glue that quickly comes loose if you handle your iPod a lot. The rubber pieces started to come loose within 2 days of purchase for me, and became quite annoying. I cannot recommend this product.

I ordered this case thinking it looked like a great idea and that being able to use it as a stand to watch videos would be useful. Boy was I wrong. Not once did I use it. And the fact that the two parts slide together is a very poor design. When I took the bottom half off after a few times, the paint of the Apple logo on the back of the iPod was wearing off a little. And not only that, but the metal backing was scratched a little bit too. And the negatives continue. The rubber grips on the sides of the cases made it feel good in the hand... for a few days. After sliding the iPod in and out of my pocket for a few days, the rubber grips began coming off and the glue could no longer hold the grips on. Since I got the case, I have mailed it back and replaced it with the Incase Slider Case iPod Touch 2G - Black (CL56198) and this case is much better. Spend the extra $10. You will be glad you did.

I was excited about this case. The color is great and gives a whole different look to the ipod touch 2G. However after about 3 weeks the rubber sides fell right off! It is a hard case with rubber attachments on the side (for grip) but as you hold the ipod and play the games, use the apps etc... the rubber heats up and falls off. Eventually they get dirty and the adhesive does not work. Other than that it's ok - just would not pay that much again.

The yellow plastic tape is essential if you have a DYMO Letratag Labelmaker of this size.
The plastic tape is far superior to the paper tape. The metallic tape is OK, but for most household and office uses, the plastic is best. Furthermore, the yellow is easy to read.
A previous reviewer complained about not being able to obtain this during the Christmas season, but that fails to accurately critique the product.

I just noticed all these reviews saying that they got a residue on their discs after using these cd keepers. They should clarify the storage conditions. Are they living in a humid climate, like Florida for instance? I'm in Arizona and I've been using these for a couple years for CD's mostly and a few DVD's, and not one of my discs has any residue on it. Nothing irregular at all. These have been really good. Maybe with a little more info we can figure this out.

I cannot NOT recommend this product highly enough.
They are crap. As stated in previous reviews, these envelopes will indeed leach or transfer some sort of residue or offgas product onto your discs, rendering movies and music useless.
I bought at least a COUPLE HUNDRED of these a few years ago, in an attempt to save storage space. HUGE mistake. Awhile back, we noticed music and movies with this 'stuff' on them. Much of our library (not massive by any means, but numbering quite a few boxed PBS, Charlie Chan, and other expensive series) has been ruined by these gawd-awful wastes of petroleum resources. Now in the process of reviewing our discs to see what can be salvaged, and what will have to be thrown away. Not fun.
I wish someone with pockets deeper than mine would file a lawsuit against Memorex, to halt the sale of this defective product, and reimburse customers who have lost/damaged property due to negligence of this company.

I have lost a significant number of CDs as the result of a sticky film that has transferred from the keeper to the contained CD. The amount of contamination varies with the color (with purple as the worst and orange the least damaging). CDs stored beside these in paper keepers were not damaged. In many cases, I have not yet been fully successful in removing the film.
Based on a few observations, you probably won't see any contamination for at least a year -- but after two to three years, the result is devastating.

I have 2 DYMO Letra Tag Label makers and in general I like them. I use the plastic tape to label my spice jars. While the print holds up to the frequent handling, the labels don't stay stuck to the glass bottles. No matter how carefully I clean the jars before applying the label they start peeling from one end or the other (and sometimes both).
They also don't like to stick to the plastic caps.
I am disappointed with this product, but haven't found anything better.
BTW - The metallic tape was no better.

I love my labelmaker. Ever since the moth invasion of 2006, is has been essential to food security. The only problem has been the expense of the tape! Save money and order this stuff in bulk. If I had bought these at the grocery store I would have paid much more for the exact same thing.

Dymo have a similar excellent product (which appears to be discontinued), item 91201. Either 201 or 331 lasts a long time for household use but you will need several canisters if you are doing a big labelling job e.g. the IT outlet points in an office building. The big thing to watch, whether you buy 331 or 201 is that Amazon refuses to ship to many overseas addresses, which in my opinion makes Amazon look foolish - if you are outside US but have a US mailing address you will have no problem.

I personally don't see any problem with this product. It is easy to put in a new cartrige and to take on out. However the cartridges do seem a little expensive, but they last pretty long. I've never had one jam yet either.
